Usagi: “Isla and the Happily Ever After”, “Indelible”, “The Lost Sun”, “Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea”, “The Coldest Girl in Coldtown”, “Dexter’s Debut”, “Crown of Midnight”, “The Iron Traitor”, “Unnatural Creatures”, and more!

Let us know if you’re willing to send us a copy!

Here’s what’s on my wishlist this week – Ashleigh Paige: Truly, Madly, Deadly by Hannah Jayne

Truly Madly Deadly - Hannah JayneSummary: Sawyer Dodd has it all. She’s a star track athlete, choir soloist, and A-student. And her boyfriend is the handsome all-star Kevin Anderson. But behind the medals, prom pictures, and perfect smiles, Sawyer finds herself trapped in a controlling, abusive relationship with Kevin. When he dies in a drunk-driving accident, Sawyer is secretly relieved. She’s free. Until she opens her locker and finds a mysterious letter signed by “an admirer” and printed with two simple words: “You’re welcome.”

Why?: Novels with stalkers or secret admirers are a rarely-indulged-in treat and throwing in the extra thriller element with the death of the abusive boyfriend? Sign me up, please. I need this yesterday!

Usagi: “The Coldest Girl in Coldtown” by Holly Black

12813630Summary: COLDTOWN WAS DANGEROUS, TANA KNEW. A GLAMOROUS CAGE, A PRISON FOR THE DAMNED AND ANYONE WHO WANTED TO PARTY WITH THEM.

Tana lived in a world where walled cities called Coldtowns exist. In them, quarantined monsters and humans mingle in a decadently bloody mix of predator and prey. The only problem is, once you pass through Coldtown’s gates, you can never leave.

One morning, after a perfectly ordinary party, Tana wakes up surrounded by corpses. The only other survivors of this massacre are her exasperatingly endearing ex-boyfriend, infected and on the edge, and mysterious boy burdened with a terrible secret. Shaken and determined, Tana enters a race against the clock to save the three of them the only way she knows how: by going straight to the wicked, opulent heart of Coldtown itself.

Why?: An anything Holly Black writes? I’ll read. She’s one of my auto-read/auto-buy authors, and this sounds absolutely amazing!

    • Same. 😦 I requested it over a month ago and it hasn’t been answered! I guess they haven’t been checking the request queue. As long as it has probably gotten now, I don’t blame them!

Also, ZOMFG YOU SPELLED MY NAME WRONG VENGEANCE UPON YOUR SOUL.

Kidding, kidding. It happens. As long as you never call me Alicia, you’re safe!
