Stacking the Shelves: Week 40

stackingWe are all book lovers and the need to share our enthusiasm is sometimes overwhelming. Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

If you’re anything like me, you are probably hoarding books and even though you are excited about your latest book arrival, it might be a while before you get to review it and Stacking The Shelves is a good way to express your undying enthusiasm for those titles! (Hosted by!)

Week 40: Here’s what landed on my shelves this week!

♡ Library/Swapped/Gifted/Bought/Etc:

stslib401. “Spellcaster” by Claudia Gray – via HarperTeen (Thanks!)

2. “The Indigo Spell (Bloodlines #3)” by Richelle Mead – library

4. “The Resurrectionist” by EB Hudspeth – via Quirk (Thanks!)

1. Game of Thrones: Season 2 (Target Special Edition)” – bought

Eeek, thanks HarperTeen and Quirk this week for sending me these awesome things! While “Spellcaster” wasn’t quite my cup of tea, “Fragments” sure was. And I can’t wait to dig into “The Indigo Spell”!

Also, yay for “Game of Thrones” and extra content! Target almost always puts out the best special editions of film/TV releases. ❤

stsearc401. “BLOOD-C: Volume 1” by CLAMP – via NetGalley/Diamond Comic Distributors – thanks!

2. “Breathless (Elementals #2.5)” by Brigid Kemmerer – via NetGalley/K-Teen (Thanks!)

3. “The End Games” by T. Michael Martin – via Edelweiss/HarperTeen (Thanks!)

4. “Stupid Perfect World” by Scott Westerfeld – bought

5. “The Prince (The Selection #0.5)” by Kiera Cass – bought

6. “Raven (Delirium #2.5)” by Lauren Oliver – bought

7. “Another Little Piece” by Kate Karyus Quinn – via Edelweiss/HarperTeen (thanks!)

8. “Icons” by Margaret Stohl – via NetGalley/LBFYR (Thanks!)

SCREAMING BECAUSE OF “ICONS” AND “BLOOD-C”. Thank you so much to NG, EW, and their pub partners for granting me access. I splurged a bit on some of these novellas, I just couldn’t help it. Ugh. I mean, “The Selection” is definitely dystopian chick lit, but I just had to figure out what was going on with Maxon in this novella. Argh.

None this week!
