Stacking the Shelves – Week 20

What is Stacking The Shelves all about?

We are all book lovers and the need to share our enthusiasm is sometimes overwhelming. Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

If you’re anything like me, you are probably hoarding books and even though you are excited about your latest book arrival, it might be a while before you get to review it and Stacking The Shelves is a good way to express your undying enthusiasm for those titles! (Hosted by!)

Week 20: Here’s what landed on my shelves this week!

1. “Fort Freak” by George R R Martin & Others – bought

2. “Starfleet Academy: The Assassination Game” by Alan Gratz – library

3. “Embrace” by Jessica Shirvington – library

4. “Angel Fire (Angel #2)” by – library

5. “Serpent’s Kiss (Beauchamp Witches #2)” by Melissa de la Cruz – library

Library haul was great this week – and a used library bookstore crazy sale on top of it! Too bad most of these library books were disappointments, but I have hope for the paperbacks (.50c/each, hell yeah!). Thanks to Atria Books this week for sending me “Map of the Sky” – I tried, but I couldn’t get into it. Oh well. Here’s hoping “Angel Fire” will be awesome.

1. “Three Parts Dead” by Max Gladstone – via Tor/NetGalley (Thanks!)

2. “Wolf Pact” by Melissa de la Cruz – bought

3. “Mary Mary Quite Contrary” by Cameron Jace – freebie

Great stuff this week! I especially can’t wait to dive into “Wolf Pact” – and I’m still seriously pissed it’s not getting a US hardcopy release (only the UK/Europe, apparently). Hopefully it’ll be awesome. Thanks to NetGalley and Tor for “Three Parts Dead” – it looks awesome.

  1. Oooh, Elantris by Brandon Sanderson. One of my friends has been hounding me to read the book for ages. I probably need to read it soon to appease him.
Looks like you have some very pretty covers here.
Wow, look at all those reviews this week!
