Hosted by GReads!. Who’s ready for the weekend?! I know I am! I’m introducing a new(ish) feature for Fridays to re-cap the week’s posts & to propose a question for my followers.
This week’s prompt: Comfort Reads: Which books do you go to for comfort & familiarity? Is there a type of book you seek out when you’re needing that extra bit of comfort in your life?
Answer: I always go to “Dangerous Angels” by Francesca Lia Block – it’s been my go to since I was 12. Also, “Wasteland” by FLB, “Lolita”, “Le Petit Prince” (the original version in French), “Brave New World” by Huxley, “Let the Right One In” by John Ajvide Lindqvist, and “The Passage” by Justin Cronin are my other comfort books. Or when I’m in a slump. 🙂 They’re enormously comforting.
