Wicked Wildfire Read-a-Thon 2012: Pregame Show!

Wicked Wildfire Read-A-ThonWhat is the Wicked Wildfire Read-a-Thon?

The Wicked Wildfire Read-A-Thon is a time when we all get together to dedicate the days of June 20-24, 2012 to as much reading as possible. You read as much as you can in order to get yourself a little further through that huge to-read pile! We know real life gets in the way and even if you can’t participate more than one day, you’re welcome to join in on the fun!

In the meanwhile, we will be hosting book-related challenges where you can win some awesome prizes and have a Twitter party at the hashtag #WWReadathon! You can posts updates on your blog, Twitter, Goodreads or Facebook — as long as the profile is public and we all can enjoy your reading progress! Click the banner above – you can still sign up!

I plan to read:

Reading: “Smart Girls Get What They Want” by Sarah Strohmeyer
“Sweet Venom” by Tera Lynn Childs
“Beyond the Wall” anthology
“Dark Companion” by Marta Acosta
“Shadow of Night (Discovery #2)” by Deborah Harkness
“Fathomless (Fairy Retellings #3)” by Jackson Pierce

IF I GET TIME:

Finishing: “Seraphina” by Rachel Hartman
Reading: “Siren’s Storm” by Lisa Papademetriou

Hopefully I should be able to read most of these up until the last two days of the read-a-thon (the 23rd and 24th) as they’re the two main days of ALA and on the 24th, my mother’s birthday to boot. But here’s hoping. I at least want to get “Fathomless” read so I can get it signed on Friday at ALA. I’ll be linking my final day reports below at the end of each day!

See my Day 1 Progress here! (6/20/12)

See my Day 2 Progress here! (6/21/12)

See my Day 3 Progress here! (6/22/12)

See my Day 4 progress here! (6/23/12)

See my Day 5/Final Day progress here! (6/24/12)

Will you participate? Look for my updates here and on twitter @usagiko under the hashtag #WWReadathon!

  1. Oh! A lot of awesome books there. 😀 I’ll have to stick around to see what you thought of them all after the RAT, haha. I want to read almost every single one and the rest looks interesting too!

Good luck. 😀 Glad to see you joining!
