Waiting On Wednesday ♡ – Week 41

“Waiting  On Wednesday” is a weekly event, hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

Here’s what I’m waiting on this Wednesday:

♡ Title: “The Kill Order (The Maze Runner #0.5)”

♡ Author: James Dashner

♡ Release Date: August 12, 2012 (North America)

♡ Publisher: Delacorte for Young Readers/Random House

♡ Synopsis:  Before WICKED was formed, before the Glade was built, before Thomas entered the Maze, sun flares seared the earth and mankind fell to disease. “The Kill Order” tells the story of that fall.

♡ Why?: Admittedly I still haven’t gotten to book 3 yet, but I’m dying (no pun intended) to know what happened to cause the rise of WICKED, the Glade, and so forth – as well as the timeline. It looks like this is going to be a full-length novel (hoping that Random House releases this one on NetGalley soon!), so I’m pretty excited about it. That and the movie! I can’t wait for that, either!

What are you waiting on this Wednesday?

  1. I *really* need to read this series, but I always forget about it when I’m picking out a book. I should tattoo it on my hand or something. 😉

    • All three books of the main trilogy are available, so go out and read them. 😉 But I do know what you mean about getting to a series/trilogy/whatever – the third book is stuck in tbr limbo and I need to read it before this one gets released. Thanks for visiting!

    • It really is a good series – and it’s getting a movie, which I’m quite excited about! You should definitely try it out. 😉

      And thanks for visiting back!

    • Thanks! You should definitely go and check all the books out! I think you’ll find yourself hooked quite quickly! 🙂

      Thanks for visiting!

    • I know, right? I’m dying to know this prequel story and I’m hoping we’ll get some more solid information on when “Maze Runner” and the rest take place, in terms of time. 🙂 Thanks for visiting!

    • You definitely should – it really is awesome. It’s one of the few MG/young YA dystopians (since most seem to be YA) out there. 🙂 Thanks for visiting!
