On My Wishlist ♡ – Week 38

On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City and runs every Saturday. It’s where I list all the books I desperately want but haven’t actually bought yet. They can be old, new or forthcoming. If you want to know more click here.

Week 38: Desperately looking for the following ARCs: “A Million Suns”,  “Fever”,  “Waking Storms”, and more! Let me know if you’re willing to send me a copy! If you want to send me a copy of your book for review, email me at usagiko at gmail dot com to let me know.

Here’s what’s on my wishlist this week:

“The Last Princess” by Galaxy Craze

Synopsis: Happily ever after is a thing of the past.

The year is 2090.  England is a barren land. Food is rationed. Oil has decimated the oceans. The people are restless. A ruthless revolutionary enacts a plan to destroy the royal family, and in a moment, the king is dead. His heiress, Princess Mary, and her brother, Jamie, have been abducted, and no one knows their fate. Princess Eliza Windsor barely escapes, and finds herself scared and lost in London’s dangerous streets.

With a mind for revenge and the safe recovery of her siblings, Eliza joins the enemy forces in disguise. There she is tempted by her first taste of independence — and true love. Ultimately she must summon her courage and fight to ensure that she does not become… The Last Princess.

Why?: Okay, the plot sounds a bit on the cheesy side, but revolution + apocalyptic setting + royalty = awesome! At least, I really hope it does. I’ll have to wait until May to find out, but we’ll see. Nevertheless I’m pretty excited about this one, even with the cheese factor.
